Ghost Town

In December 2020, we passed by a ghost town in Gilman, Colorado. It was the site of lead mining. Individuals were offered housing at half the price. A short time later, children were noted to have record levels when tested for lead. People became ill. The pollutants and chemicals found were numerous. In 1984, the

Sweet Basil

Sweet Basil, tucked away in Vail Village, provided a nice dimly lit atmosphere in the evening. The staff were professional and friendly. The menu had a variety of selections which included seasonal and unique flavors. For instance, the lobster bisque was sweeter than any other bisque I had tasted at other restaurants. The warm pretzels

I truly enjoyed walking around the village both day and night to just gaze at the wonders of Christmas. Masks are mandated.
