Disney has been a Thompson Family tradition for ages. My parents first exposed our family to this magical place when Karla and I were toddlers. Since then, we have visited at least 1-2 times per year. We have visited Disney parks and/or resorts in Orlando, California, Paris, and Hawaii. Disney World in Orlando is our most frequently visited and favorite. Disney is more than an amusement park. It is a magical experience for all ages. Each cast member, restaurant, shop, and attraction is unique. One could easily spend sunrise to midnight in a park and want to visit many more days. We enjoy the specialty treats and collectibles each season. The parks are decorated so carefully for each holiday. It takes several visits to behold each detail. Before the covid-19 pandemic, the parades were lengthy and filled with characters waving and performing. During the pandemic, the parades have been shorter but still magical on a smaller scale. Currently, Disney requires masks, temperature checks, and social distancing due to covid-19 restrictions. The wait times were not as long during our recent visits and we found this to be quite refreshing. We felt safe during our trips since the pandemic was declared.
