We had the opportunity to explore a newly discovered ice cave last November. It was cold, and the snow was waist-deep. The cave view was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience and our photos do not do it justice. It was a very difficult hike through the snow for us southern girls, but we had an amazing experience. Thankfully, we had a helicopter ride to the top and did not have to make our way up from the parking area.
