During our recent vacation to Las Vegas in August 2020, we had the pleasure to dine at Majordomo Meat and Fish at the Venetian Resort. This restaurant from Chef David Chang is absolutely amazing! It was my favorite restaurant that we dined at during our 9-day stay in Vegas. The atmosphere was classy and the menu offered unique dishes. The Chickpea Dip and Tingly Lamb served with bing bread were delicious starters. The Tingly Lamb offered a nice portion of lamb seasoned perfectly with the right amount of jalapenos for a bit of a kick. Our main course was the Whole Plate Short Rib which was more than enough to feed 5 individuals. The chef carved this at our table before serving it which made for a unique dining experience. The meat was smoked and tender. It was very well-seasoned. The restaurant only offers a certain amount of this dish each night and we were fortunate to have gotten the last one for that evening. Other menu items to note that night were the Crab Crispy Rice and Grilled Striped Bass which left our tastebuds well pleased. Side items were generous in portion size and able to be shared among our party. Just when I thought our dining experience could not get any better, dessert was served. The homemade key lime pie was one of the best that I have ever tasted. The pie crust was thick while the filling was smooth with a rich lime flavor. A bottle of 2004 Louis Roederer Cristal complemented our meal well. It arrived to our table via a detailed and exquisite cart complete with lights. The Cristal lived up to its reputation as a refined and smooth champagne with fruit and citrus. This fine dining experience was surely memorable and one that I hope to have again!
